etched vin #s on glass

do all s14s have etched vins on all the glass? i have them on all except for my windshield on my 98. just wanted to see if it was replaced or not (it does have nissan glass).

Maybe the previous owner removed them.. unless you're the original owner.

VIN etching is a dealer option, not all cars have it. Its likely that they didn't etch the windshield because the reason to etch the vin is so that the parts are easily identifiable as stolen, since people tend to sell doors and stuff as one unit. Of course, windsheilds get replaced so often that its just as likely that it has been replaced. If you really cared you would probably have to use your title to get the car's previous owner and call them up.

no all glass doesnt have vin etching, pass window from a parts car of mine had etching, no other glass has it. you know you can get a discount on insureacne if you have etching, dont mention ur windshield is bare, but when i noticed that they have the discount it is worth getting
