View Full Version : Timing chain ka24e question(rattle has to go)
I did a search on putting in the timing chain however the pics would not show. I am basically needing to know where to set the timing marks if the pully mark sets straight up or straight down? Normally I know the pulley marks on other cars would face each other in the middle. If someone could just let me know or direct me to a pic I would be greatful. :Owned:
(I dont have a repair manual GRRRRR got to get one soon)

on the bottom chain sprocket, when at tdc, the crankshaft key (holds lower sprocket in place) will be at 12 oclock. Its hard to see the small mark on the gear with the chain on. Make sure that the colored links on the new chain line up with both indent marks on the gears.
Thanks For the Help Guys got it done.
