OC Shop to rebuild PS pump and Rack & Pinion?

Hello,

Anyone know of a shop in Orange County where I could get my S13 ka24de power steering pump and power steering rack & pinion rebuilt? Otherwise, I'll just go buy a set at vatozone.

i think it would be cheaper if you just buy a new one... they give you 100 bucks back for the core exchange

I work at a auto parts store, a rebuilt rack is about $120 with the exchange of your old one, and the ps pump is around the same price more or less

Hello Imncunner, which auto parts store do you work for? I'm seeing rebuilt racks for $250+.

Also, do you do rebuilt alternators, too? Kinda don't want to go to vatozone.

Rebuilding a PS pump isnt hard. I've done one on my SR and my mom's V6 accord.

Autozone PS is about $85 with core. Lifetime warranty too!

I went to HB Auto in Huntington Beach. Got my rack & pinion and ps pump rebuilt for $317.

Im on the same boat need my HICAS rack rebuilt and a new one/reman one is 300+. i hope it would be cheaper to get a shop to rebuild it.
