It looks like you won't be seeing my car at Shine st. guys.

So my car was running goofy, it'd start at 12v then dip down to 7, and just before it died it would spike back to 12 and repeat the process.

I tried driving home last night and I saw it falling, and expected it to jump back up. Too bad it didn't. 50 miles towed back home.

I tested the alternator this morning after a jump, and it was putting out 13v at the terminals, except at the battery the voltage was falling!

I bought a new battery. SAME EXACT THING! :madfawk:

WHAT IS GOING ON HERE??? HELP ME!

Sounds like you're not getting good connection between your alternator and battery.

Do 240's have a fusable link? Might wanna check that out.

Ok I just changed the alternator.

NEW Battery
NEWish Alternator

Car runs perfectly until I turn it off. Then the voltage drops to 10, and it doesnt have enough juice to start back up again...

OK fixed a bit more. My 100A was melted to my fuse box....

Anyway, the car will now SLOWLY lose charge when turned off. Parasitic drain?

could be parasitic draw like you mentioned....
check the battery cables running to the starter and the negative cables as well.

I just decided to relocate my battery and put in a kill switch as a band aid...
