I have seen the sileighty conversion on s13 coupes and I absolutely love it, but I am wondering how it will look on a s13 hatch. I have found a s13 needing a front end so this conversion is right down my ally. By the way, the s15 conversion is too expensive so its really outta the question.
Come on guys help with these pics.......If my boyfriend thinks it looks good he is going to buy it and be officially converted to the world of Nissan.

the S13 coupe actually came w/ those lights in Japan.
the S13s marketed in N.America were the 240 Fastbacks (180SX chassis) and the One-via (180sx front on an S13 back [hence the name])

it would just be a silvia conversion, not a sileighty conversion if it were on a coupe
i love sil-80's though. they look so pimp

Thank you FastNissan.......That car is beautiful...that really helps. Did they make a s13 Hatchback Silvia in Japan or was that just the 180's.

(These descriptions apply only to the exterior styling)
All coupes were silvias. (fixed healights)
All fastbacks were 180SX's. (pop-up lights)
Nissan made a limited run sil-eighty (rare).
The "one-via" <= 180 front on Silvia type rear was sold in the US as the 240SX coupe.

pop-up fronts cost more than the fixed lights. 180's are also more rare I believe than silvias in japan. So when drifters smashed their pop-up front end, they were often replaced with silvia front ends. At least that's one theory I read about...
There's someone around here that has an SR powered 240hatch that they wrecked and put a slivia front end on it. They have a really cool site that I was looking at just a couple days ago but I can't find it. If I do I'll link to their site.
Edit: Here (http://www.steamymirror.com/dsc240sx/images/drift.gif) is a pic of this guy drifting that I saved. He's relatively new at zilvia IIRC. Hopefully he'll see this thread.

thank you.....so a hatchback with a silvia front would just be a Nissan mutt. ....But it is pretty
Hey FastNissan would you happen to have any more pics?

The cost is the reason we are looking at the conversion.
It needs a front bumper, fenders, one headlight, and a new hood. We found the conversion for under a grand so it would probably actually be cheaper to go Silvia.
You guys have been more than helpful.
Any more pics would be great.

no, it'd be a sil-80...think of it this way, break it down. sil-80. front half silvia, back half 180sx. one-via. front half 180sx, back half silvia. get it? its pretty easy once you think about it. theres also laurelines and sopras and other hybrid cars like that
