I am having an electrical issue. Figured I would get some suggestions here while I troubleshoot and check the FSM.

A few lights on my cluster will stay on once the key is removed. The lights that stay on are battery, brake, seatbelt, airbag possibly a few more but that is what I remember as of right now. This is a recent problem, car has never done this before.

This will only happen once I have turned the ignition on and back off. If I take the battery terminals off and put them back on nothing stays lit up.

Remove your turbo timer. If you don't have a turbo timer. Then check your ignition key.

ohh, i forgot, alternator might be going bad, theres like 3 resistors or diodes, i forget, but if one goes then i think it will have problems like the, right?

Hmm that could be right but it happens after the first turn of the key. Everything will be iff if you just hooked up the battery

thats prolly cause the alternator hasn't spun after the re-hookup of the battery, do you have a wine in your speakers everytime your on the gas and engine revs?

but even if i just turn it to on the alternator isnt spinning. and iono i bought the car with a blown motor and i just stuck my s14 motor and stuff in. but it was doing this before i even did the swap

Ended up being a bad diode in the ECU.
