You can do the R32 projector headlamp conversion or get the clear covers for your 240SX headlamps.
So yes, they do exist.

These are the JDM headlamps (plastic/same as the US model 240SX besides the interior housing is 2 parts and not one parts like the US model) and the clear covers both I got shipped from Japan. If you get the clear covers they can be used also on the US models, however, it will be a tight fitment.

The fender and hood is not needed. The only mod you will need to do is to alter the supports for the R32 headlamps to fit on a US 24SX (95-96).

The company who produces this item doesn't have a site yet. You can only special order them from japan...too expensive..trust me. Better off doing the black housing Skyline R32 projector headlamp converison. :goyou:
BTW the H2Fparts.com site is under construction. That's my new website that should be up and running soon.

It's do-able using the stock bumper, hood, fenders, however the R32 headlamps will need to be modded. In other words you will need to convert the support brackets of the headlamps to match those of your 240SX headlamps in order to fit correctly. Here are pics of metal brackets attached to the R32 projectors:

interesting....
will the headlight bulb connectors work w/ the skyline headlight assembly? or would you need to do custom wiring?
r32 lights are projector lights right?, would you need different lighting(hid? bulbs? etc?)

You will need to do custom wiring since the bubls are different from the US model 240SX. I'd say start looking for a good HID kit IMO. You can still use bulbs, but HID look better when you have projectors.

There really isn't a website up for doing the clear headlamp conversion (my white car) at this time. In regards to getting it shipped from Japan, either you have to know someone there or go through someone who has access.

Here are 2 pics from inside my car with the clear headlamp housings. As you can see the beam pattern isn't clean and you end up with 2 X beams. On the road, the pattern is ok, but as you can see in the first pic you get that X shadow which is the shadow from the beam reflector inside the headlamp housing. I hope this helps.

Mine is the JDM headlamp with the clear covers and the black is high-temp paint i used to black the interior of the housing. The covers didn't cost me anything as they were a prototype at that time. I do know that they cost 180 or so for a set.

You can do that. I've seen some people paint the interior housing of the US headlamp and it's not that bad, however it's not that noticeable. It will have a tinted look to your headlamps.
When oyu heat your headlamps (oven temp 250 for about 3-5 minutes) take it out and use a flat knife or screwdriver to pry open the headlamp cover. Be careful not to force it too much because you will end up cracking the cover and if you do then you are screwed. If the silicone becomes too hard, place back into the oven for another 2 minutes and pry again. Continue this process until your remove the cover. Make sure when you remove it that you remove the covey with the backside of the headlamp facing up (in other words the cover will be closer to the ground). This will ensure that the silicone will not stretch and stick onto the housing of the headlamps. Next, tape up the housing (parts you don't want sprayed) and use a high temp spray paint (dull coat if popssible) and spray 3 or so layers. Finally, use a high temp clear coat (2 coats), this will smooth out the previous layer and give it a slight gloss coat.
Now get some black silicone and inject it around the headlamp, and re-seal the cover or re-heat the headlamp so the silicone is soft and re-attached the cover. Test for leaks and you are done...now re-peat on the other side. Hope this helps.

I'll post up a write-up within the next 2 weeks. I'm retrofitting HID projectors, Ballasts, and burners into my zenki, as well as sanding down the "fluting" on the stock lenses and polishing them up.

I remember seeing this thread a long time ago and tracking down the Japanese connection, as a matter of fact they are FinalKonnexion. The housing are really nice but etremely costly for a DIY kit. You basically have to take apart your lamp housing and repalce it with their clear lense ($450). PhaseIIMotorsport is marketing them here.

Don't know if they have them in stock or if they order them from japan. Let me know if you find something like this somewhere else.
