vh45 would be dope and also super unique unlike the sr which is incredibly common

I like the sr's man...I like how others put it down because it's a 4 cylinder engine and they have v8's and v6's....then I beat dat ass...

Not incredibly sure how much you can do with 5k on a vh45 swap but considering you already have an sr you can put down some crazy good power with that kind of money! i would personally work on the sr but thats just me. good luck!

I say VH, IMO they sound awesome. Also if you sell both SRs you will have more for a VH swap right?

Good luck at BMT its just one big mind fuck lol

DUDE go VH....I built a fully forged sr20 with 50 trim topmount and all the bells/whistles and drove it for a few miles and said fuck it and put a VH in...VH is not cheap though....at least not for me...The motor/tranny and swap kit with headers was about $2600 but all the extra shit is really adding up as im taking my time a handling all the details etc.....still WAYYYY cheaper then an LS though...

Nothing...I had some electrical gremlins that I was working with after the rebuild and had a shop take a look at it (only time it was ever out of my hands), so while it was there I was checking out the VH swap...Got it back, drove it around for a few days and just said aw fuck it the VH is just more unique and I found a good deal on the motorset and with enjuku's black friday sale it was done. My sr20 part out paid for pretty much everything initially too.

Well if you go vh45, and it brakes, you can just replace it for 500$ (?), if your sr20 goes down, it'll be really expensive
