well, I have an ECU that comes on, but it doesn't prime the fuel pump.. Is this a sign of a bad ECU, or do you think it is something that can be fixed? I tried another ECU and the car started right up..

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

You probably answered your own question.

Well I wasn't sure if there was a simple fix for that ecu, like maybe it was in diagnostic mode or something..

I've had an ECU like that before. Replacing the ECU would be the best solution however you can still make it work by taking the siginal for FUEL PUMP relay from another IGN ON source.

Take the ECU out and look at the LED on it.

Is the red LED stuck on? If so this mode will cause the fuel pump not to prime.

What mode would this be?

I agree with GroundPerformance, you probably have a burnt trace for pin 104 or a frozen relay. If you jump the relay and the pump powers on we know the pump and the wiring to it is good. There should be other relays used or unused in the bay to test the relay on or swap. This would rule out the relay. do a continuity test on the fuel pump relay trigger wire to pin 104. If the problem still exists? It's the ecu. you could always swap ecu's too, but nothing beats a DIY'er
