on pretty much all the writeups ive seen they say you need to remove the rear uprights...... this is not true, it make the whole process take much longer.... this is usually said to give access to the 4 back bolts holding the hub to upright....
if you slightly modify a socket, it makes the rear conversion a peice of cake...

you can grind the edge off all the way around, or just on one side and make sure that side is towards your axle....
