GReddy Profec B Spec 2 EBC

I'm thinking about getting this EBC for my stock SR turbo on my Red Top (T25 turbo?). I've heard some say that I would be better off with just a cheapo manual boost controller because the EBC might not be fast enough to control this small turbo. Can anyone shed some light on this?

it works fine, i sold my old profec b to get ahold of one, because id had the old one in 3 cars and i wanted some new blue lit up shit in my car cuz im a ricer like that :D

its a lil more a pain to set right than the old profec b, but it works just as well, just has a few more features like the peak hold, and the ability to pull boost back after a spike etc.

You're actually quite a bit more likely to have boost spikes using a manual than an electronic

The profec is pretty cool. It does what it is supposed to do. Read the manual over five times before you mess with anything and you'll be fine. It takes a couple of read throughs to get passed the engrish.

If you want some tips on how to set it up look at my past threads. You will run into more problems trying to overboost the t-25 than you will with the Profec. Depending on the age of the t-25 you won't pull more than 14 lbs of boost without spinning the crap out of the thing, and you WILL loose boost at high RPM.
