That's exactly what came to mind when I saw the trailer... Cept there seems to be a lot more killing in god bless. Falling down had a message (didn't it?) this movie seems more like a dark satire or comedic commentary on the problems with pop culture and the media whereas falling down was all about how fucked la is

On first glance, this looks like last year’s dark comedy Super, which itself looked suspiciously similar to Kick-Ass and Defendor. Both the movies have middle-aged losers who lose their minds after something bad happening to them, and go on amoral killing sprees with teenage girls as sidekicks(i.e. a duo of a fattie and a hottie). But the similarities are only superficial, as while Super intended to subtly deconstruct the superhero genre, God Bless America aims to be a transparent social commentary. The violence in Super was intended to repulse the audience, whereas this one expects the audience to revel in the gore.

It's a movie people, I wouldn't take it as anything more then entertainment value. This isn't directed at anybody specific but if any of you are worried about how it affects your kid's, start being a responsible parent and teach them right from wrong and you won't have to worry about them being influenced by a fictional movie.
