Anytime my car is idling or as i start it, theres a decent knocking sound coming from the trans tunnel, right where the trans meets the engine. kid i bought it from says that a clutch bolt came out and is bouncing around, but only problem is the sound disappears once you get on the throttle . i was watching some random youtube videos of 240s and noticed one that described a knock at idle... that turned out to bw a loose flywheel, does this sound like my issue, or something else

Take trans out and see. Maybe low oil pressure at idle

If thats what he said it is...why dont you drop the tranny to double check? Last thing you wanna do is drive the damn thing. If that bolt gets lodged somewhere it shouldnt, you'll get stranded since the clutch will be inop.

Its not for lack of wanting to, call me crazy but I don't like jacking up a car and wrenching underneath it... . Prob gonna buy those wheel ramps and get the front up off the ground then jack stand the ass end. As a side note, changed the plugs yesterday.... cylinder one was flooding due to an almost non-existant gap, cylinder 3 was gapped at .085.... and 4 came out with just my bare hand.... lovely plug job.gonna drop the trans next week (out of town this weekend) and see what's up
