hey guys im looking to do a hot cam swap,. i am a rookie so yeahh i jus need a few tips i,. i read on many forums that in order to install it is required to retard the teeth about 3-4 ?? how the hell do u do it>?? lol i wanna do it on my own. i have read that u do it on the main pulley ? er how if anything does anyone have link to a video of someone doing it? help me out bros! dont wanan fuk this car up and BY THE WAY im looking to do a 248/232 setup

or give me tips on what setup i should go with to have a good powerband going on. (the s14 cams suck!!)

The power change won't be worth the work. I believe ppl put s14 cams in their s13 and not the other way around

because many guys i met told me the s14 ka24de cams have a smaller lift than s13cams , ... the size of s14 are 232 232, s13 are 240 248,.. give me some facts

^those are duration not lift, just because they're bigger doesn't necessarily mean there is higher lift

to make a positive gain, you need a cam with larger lift.

soo basically there isnt much difference if i was to do the swap to s13 cams?,,

i don't know what cam he is referring too, but the cam's duration might be larger but the lift isn't. the gain is from duration/lift combo

larger lift is an important factor in camshafts, i think this is what he is getting at.

im looking to do the hotcam swap 248/232 s14 comes 232/232
