View Full Version : Is there a difference between a SR20 Catalytic Converter and A KA24de one?

I need to go through emisions, is there a difference between a catalytic converter off of a ka24de and a sr20? thanks a bunch i dont think there is but i want to make sure before i buy one

a cat. for a factory turbo car has less copper

idk how you would find or identify a factory SR converter

Cat for KA pipe will be smaller (NA)
SR is Turbo and the pipe is slightly larger.

Now if your running a factory exhaust go for eather.
If your running a Down Pipe or Aftermarket exhaust, you should run a High Flow Cat with correct piping size to match the DP and Exhaust.

Jegs, Random Tech, plenty of places have them... and they can be custom made to order.

i have heard of high flow cats passing, but im in FL no emissions anywhere in sight here

so glad i dont have emmisions.
but i do indeed love my highflow.
