does anybody know what sort of total cost i would be looking at to put an s15 front on an s14? (1995). im looking at the purchase of an s14 that could use a new front end, and I think might as well go with s15. definately need to find the cheaper way to do this. I've heard the VIS kit is as good as anything else available domestically. what sort of cost am i looking at? I understand boost dynamics was selling a kit pretty cheap? which one are they carrying?
also, is there a way to just buy the quarter panels, then find my own hood and bumper and headlights? is this generally cheaper?
S15 quarter panels will not bolt up. You need to get the fiber-galss replicas. The cheapest price I have seen on S15 projector headlights is about $800. That might tell you just how much the conversion would run. I think it would be around $3k for the whole package. Might as well put that $$$ into an engine.

no i mean the custom quarter panels, i know you cant just use the stock ones. i've heard under $2500 for one of the full kit replicas, so i guess that's what i'd have to go for...
as far as engine i already have plans on that, that's why im looking into doing a front end cheap. i'd rather do engine work first, but its not often you find an s14 that is in perfect condition other than parts of the front end, and so damned cheap, too, not to mention SO close...i cant even find an UNDAMAGED 240 that close for sale.

ok, well theresno contact info on VIS' site, i guess that means i need to find someone who actually sells their kit
Try contacting Bomex too. They do not sell the S15 conversions but they can hook you up with some custom stuff if you ask. There was a site that sold full conversions but I cannot find it!!! I was just looking at the site two days ago. I want to say it is boostdyamics but there site seems to be down. If I find I will let you know and when you do the conversion don't forget some pics! Good luck

well they're not really that hard to do anymore, its becoming a bolton affair. fenders are all that really need to be made, fabrication is supposed to be pretty much minimal. isnt there supposed to be some work involved with radiator supports and intercooler? i really hadnt been that interested in doing the swap, but i would love one if i could do it this cheap (due to the car that is fine other than the front end), and having seen the "enkei silvia 14.5" in this months turbo, i've seen just how good they can make it look. almost as good as the real do-luck s15

yeah, the parts r all bolt on with the kits n all, but it's just hard to get a lot of info on them or find them around. my last post made it sound like only 2 ppl have it done, but i didn't mean nething like that at all.

does anyone have any experience with www.wholehyper.com ?? their prices look pretty good on s15 conversions, and they'll let you mix and match parts as you please. their base price with the SWATT fenders, OEM headlights and hood, and your choice of street weapon drift or g-force (these are both actually pretty nice fronts) is $2500, with the option of carbon fibre hood and different fronts. maybe they'll give me a package deal if i include the drift style skirts and rear? hmm...i'd like to see what sort of price boostdynamics could get me, but their page and email is down. maybe Louis will spot this and gimme a price? hmm...does anybody know how SWATT's fenders stack pu to the VIS models?
if you have any info on where to get a good price or any other helpful things, please dorp me a line at

Never ordered from Hyper, but I can say that alot of people from alot of forums order from there often so theey are pretty trustworthy <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>. As for boostdynamics...I have no idea.
