Ok I just had an s14 sr20 swap on my 95' 240sx. The shop that did the swap are very legit and specialize in these swaps. Anyway everything on the motor was done stock s14 including stock ecu, stock maf, stock side mount intercooler, stock turbo/wastegate, etc. The only mods are isis 3" exhaust, 3" downpipe, Act stage 3 clutch, Walbro 255, and that's it. The car was an auto so we did the basic 5-speed swap as well.

Anyway, I plan on doing a front mount intercooler with an HKS ssq BOV flange (obviously to use the hks bov with). Where is the best bang for the buck to get this front mount? Enjuku sells their ISIS front mounts for around $500 flanged for the HKS, are they legit for the money or do you recommend another place?

Second, I noticed the car has a little bit of a hesitation around 2,000 rpms in all gears then will clear up the more I open up the throttle and get into hi rpms. It doesn;t feel like a huge issue but it is a hickup I cannot let go if you know what I mean. Here's what the shop said that worked on it and tried to fix it:

- They tried a couple different mafs
- They rebuilt the turbo
- compression is fine
- timing is fine
- went back through the harness 3 times
- ECU throwing no codes
- New Spark plugs
- different injectors

They said they think it is wiring. BTW, I know the guy and he is very legit, so I decided to take the car back for a bit to mess with myself as I am somewhat mechanically included. They are super busy and I dont want to leave the car there for 2 more weeks. My next tests include:

-blow off valve leak
-wastegate leak
- alternator
- wiring behind the dash
- a personal engine harness check (examining a diagram myself)

Any ideas or things you would check? Are there any common issues in s14 sr20's that come up like this when swapped?

Any advice or help is appreciated as this is like finding a needle in a haystack so far.

I have that same EXACT hesitation.
