Tail lights and dash lights not working!

Now to start off, I have done my research about this.

I got an aftermarket swap meet like stereo installed in my 1990 s13 pignose by some dude. Now the tail lights and dash lights won't turn on, headlights and brake lights work fine. Tail light fuse is blown (15A) and keeps blowing every time I put a new one in. Now my friend and I looked at the TCU and grounded the red/yellow wire and it still blew. So now I either have to get a new TCU from the J-yard and somehow put together that red/yellow wire again, or I have a short somewhere.

Any ideas where the short could be or anything else that I could do?! Getting frustrated with it lol.

Why would you suspect the TCU before the wiring if you just put the radio in?

Fix the radio wiring, then fix your (most likely) fried TCU.

I just don't know what wiring he screwed up. He connected the orange to the black ground...guessing that's it since there is an extra black ground. Of course this is what I THINK since I did not watch it all.

Found out that he did screw up wiring...there are: orange, black, and blue left towards the back and two blue towards the front just left.
