1987 Toyota Corolla GTS AE86

I have an AE86 GTS for sale, bought from the previous owner with a blown head gasket. I have completely rebuilt the engine from the pistons up. All new bearings, trust washers, gaskets, water pump, radiator, and such. I have been working on this car for over a year, i just recently started it, let it idle for about 30min, then shut it off. The car has 0 miles upon the rebuild. I am selling simply because I'm just not feeling the looks of the 86 anymore, I want a new and more intense project. The car is completely stock and has never been molested. When i got the car, you could tell the engine has been untouched since 1987. I have cleaned every part of the engine seperately by hand. I know that this engine is straight. I know it needs a few finishing touches that I may do when i get free time, but the next buyer can do it if they would like. I have put around 1500 into the engine, and I have all the receipts to prove it. The body is straight other then the driver side. Fender is dented in, as well as the door. Easy fix, just replace the two or do a little body work. Interior is amazing, all original. My asking price is 4000 OBO. Do not waste my time, serious buyers only. looks like a zenki? arent the trunks smaller on kouki? and the rear panels are different on gts kouki?

Trunks exactly the same size only difference is
The kouki model has the center garnish

It has sr5 interior tho
From panels to seats
But it looks like a real Kouki GTS cuz of the fender lining
Sr5 models and GTS Zenki models don't have the plastic molding on fenders
The taillights are kouki

Some of the kouki GTS models that were produced towards the end of the year came with this interior. It's still a legit kouki GTS model though, the only difference being the interior bits. If you take a picture of the gauge cluster it will be a GTS gauge cluster. Car looks pretty clean, glws!

Just so everyone knows, most '87 GTS's came with SR5 seats from the factory. Nobody can explain to me exactly why that is, but I've seen 5 or 6 near-original 87 GTS coupes over the years, and they all came with that interior stock.

Shame its already sold, I'm dying to get into a decent unhacked AE86 again.
