Hey guys I'm starting my process of purchasing an RB. My question is should I buy off a person or order from a importer. I have every thing I need to swap the Motor like mount kit swap harness front mount etc. I just need to know what you guys think is the safety route. Any comments aloud good or bad I appreciate the help and thank you

www.japaneseengineimport.com (http://www.japaneseengineimport.com) is located in Virginia. I got my motor from there and it came in perfect condition with extremely low mileage. Motor started up on first try and it's been running beautifully with no problems. Their prices can't be beat

I've bought all my motors in person that way I could check the mileage and compression and look at the engine before I purchase it to examine it for leaks, fucked wires or sensors, or missing parts. But that's easy to do when u live in so cal, I was even able to test drive the rhd 13 my first sr came out. Some importation companies are legit the person above listed one they've had success with so you could use them. Myself, I wouldn't buy a big purchase like an engine unless I got the opportunity to see it first.

Get an RB26 instead. That's my only regret.

Werd, spend the extra up front and get an RB26. Or cut to the chase and get an RB30.
