how exactly would i run my sub at 2ohms, and how much louder will it be, i can grab a new amp if i want that is 2 ohm stable but is there anything i have to do to make it run at 2 ohms?<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>?/

to run two 4 ohm subs @ 4 ohms u run them in parallel but u need an amp that is one ohm stable it the amp is 2 channels if its a mono amp then u dont have to worry as long as its 2 ohm stable ur fine..... but u take the positive wires from both speakers and put those to the positive of the amp then do the same with the negatives

i have a single 12 inch sub and a 4 channel amp bridged into each voice coil, so what your saying is that i should instead of having channels 1/2 bridged and 3/4 bridged, i should take the positives from channel 1/2 and the negs from 3/4 into each and put the positives into one vc and the negs into the other???

that sounds odd
