Battery drain FYI

I was having an issue with my 93 240, if you let it sit for a few days, the battery would get drained down to nothing. I finally figured out the issue when I pulled the computer and ran the check engine codes on it. It was filled with codes, it was somehow in diagnostic mode all the time. I reset it as per the instructions in the FSM so it showed only '55, 55', which meant it was cleared.

That solved my problem. So if you are having a mysterious battery drain that takes several days to run your battery down, and nothing else seems to be wrong, check this out....

Dunno, but it was on all the time. Reset it, and problem with draining battery is gone....

Thanks! I'll try that, I have a battery drain on my car too... I'll also check for some short-circuits...
