Hey bros, I've heard a lot of mixed messages on ebay hubs but my bearings on my oem s14 hubs took a crap so I figured some ebay hubs will do (they say they have oem bearings pressed in but idk) So anyways, does this look right to you fellas? http://i607.photobucket.com/albums/tt157/leomiami14/IMG_2635.jpg Am I supposed to be able to see the ball bearings/grease? http://i607.photobucket.com/albums/tt157/leomiami14/IMG_2637.jpg http://i607.photobucket.com/albums/tt157/leomiami14/IMG_2636.jpg Also, I have s14 knuckles so I ordered hubs for an s14. I guess s14 hubs are sealed and don't allow you to replace the bearing. I provided extra pictures in hopes to figure out if I can replace the bearings on these hubs down the road. Thanks in advance mates.

OEM bearings my ass. I wouldn't trust eBay bearings for a split second.

Nissan OEM S14 4 to 5 Lug Bolt on Front Hub Conversion w/ Bearings (http://www.frsport.com/Nissan-OEM-S14-4-to-5-Lug-Bolt-on-Front-Hub-Conversion-w--Bearings_p_3049.html)

Right. I figured I'd give them a shot but now I'm just gonna file a dispute and return these suckers.

Edit: I can see the ball bearings on those too http://i2.frsimg.com/images/detailed_images/Nissan_S14Front5Lug_6.jpg

The design is essentially the same but not all bearings are created equally. From the FRSport images it looks like there are markings that should make it distinguishable.

Do you really want to take a chance on something like this? My two cents

OEM = higher price/peace of mind

ebay brand= lower price/will it or will it not fail?

I personally would not play russian roulette with wheel hubs.

oem front bearings are visible too, it's not an issue. i bought ebay hubs and they went bad after a year. i think when i bought oem front hubs from westco nissan it was less than a $60 difference, and according to ray they're usually good for at least 150k miles.

in short, buy the oem hubs, you'll spend more replacing the cheaper ones

Get OEM hubs and return the eBay ones.

OEM FTW. I don't think the eBay ones would be nearly as good. I'm sure they can't last 20+ years like the originals.

I bought oem hubs from Nissan. And used oem for the rear. Came out about the same as ebay ones price wise.

But yes i can see my bearings
