Alright so I'm a junior in high school in socal and today we started talking about what we wanted to do after high school. Immediately i knew i wanted to work on drift cars! So i was wondering, How did the guys from like Garage Boso and Garage Autohero get into there line of work? Is there a special school or some kind of internship program that I have to do? Any information would be helpful!

there are "schools" but just like anything, best is to learn your self, and ask questions.

If you can get financial Aid GO TO COMUNNITY COLLEGE!! I am getting paid to study, although I'm not an Auto Fulltimer I plan on going auto heavy next semester. Also LOOK For Scholarships they're not as hard to get as you think 300 word essay or sometimes just your info will do for a couple hundred bucks! Do research

its all about who you know. I never went to a mechanic school. but i work circles around a lot of them. ive taught most of it myself. studying, research, alot of research, building my own cars, and breaking A LOT of shit.

besides the 35k not alot of people from uti or wyotech get good reps. out of the 200 students maybe 20 know their shit. its better to go to a community college more 1 on 1 with instructors and better reputation

I want to do the same thing. However I am going a different route. Went to school for accounting, going to work as a CPA for about a decade making/saving that money. Learning by working on my own cars and slowly might build a good reputation as someone who knows their shit. By the time I am around 30 I will either open up a shop and continue working on cars for fun depending on where I am at. I see it as a win win situation either way.

yeah, most guys like JTP took some classes, but for the most part, it was self taught....
then they opened up their own garage.
