How are u bleeding the brakes? I used a 7 dollar one man bleeder. Open the bleeder then pump like crazy start from the rear passenger caliper, always the farthest away from the MC, although some cars have a specific pattern to do. Anyhow, the 7 dollar kit includes a clear line and u have to get all the air out, all of it. Sometimes if u do it manually u can't know if u did or not. Since u will have a clear line u will see the fluid , if their is air you will know. That's how I did mine, works really well!

So I take it that you didn't do this. Try bench bleeding the cylinder for the hydro brake & then bleed the system once more.

Your problem is very simple. I had the same issue. I had my hydro sitting in the garage for a while since I last used it. About a year or so. Same thing with my Bmc ... So I wasn't able to get the lock... I guess what happen was that the hydro got stuck , I used an air compressor and I stuck it into the ports of just the hydro... And something pop... That ever since then it started working.. Fluid was going in and out perfect ... So if u have access to that, try that... But u need to take the hydro of the car... and to answer your question I have about a 2-3 inch travel or so on my cnc hydro. Question did the car brakes work fine before the install? And are u 100% sure u installed the lines to the hydro right?

ok. bled every witch way possible everything i can do to get air out and im 99.9% sher there is none left and still no lockyy so it has to be just junk brakes? if so what would be best for just pure lock up power?

go get some of the cheapest pads you can get at the parts store. they work the best. ceramic pads will only lock up it you put a torch to it haha

yup. get the lifetime warranty one for like 20 bucks. when you get heat cracks in your pads from drifting take em back and get new ones. haha

You sure u have it hooked up correctly? I had trouble with mine at first but called ASD about the setup and I had my lines ran backwards. Here is how i have mine ran. The rear port should come from the line on your Brake Master and the front port should go to your rear brake line.

So let me get this straight. The OP didn't bench bleed his master cylinder and it worked just fine.
Do they really have to be bench bled? Or is that just a myth?
And if you do have to bench bleed them, why did the OP's work ok?
