Looks very clean.
Rust? Other suspension modifications? Brakes?
Clutch?

I think that is a FAIR price.

5k. Idk why people think 240's are so much money.

no rust at all, new tie rods, and mint tein coilovers, new act clutch and thats about it

swap alone is nearly 5k, i think 9k is fair price

Part it out. You'll get the money you need now. And have some flow coming in.

If you sell it as whole think of getting 50% of the money you put into it.
10k into car, it'll sell for 5k, maybe 6k.

If you part it think 75% of what you paid. 4k into swap, sell for 3k

I think it's the fact that someone having $9000 CASH to buy a 240sx is hard. Getting a loan for a mid 90's car isn't exactly easy let alone getting one for more then twice blue book value.

Looking at the car it doesn't seem bad. Maybe the lack of pictures/description/info on the car scares people off. I Think 7-9k is more then fair for a 1JZ'd S14. Figure a s14 sell for 4k motor is 2k mounts/driveshaft wiring is $1500. Your in the realm of people knowing what goes into a car like this, so your selling the running car for the price of the car/motor and some parts. not to mention time/labor/etc.

i mean to build this thing is nearly 15k

single snail this 1jz, injectors and fuel mods and this car wont leave anything on the road

front end alone is 2k, so it adds up, i think its a pretty tastefully done car and it has never been wrecked or abused

has clean stock interior, etc

you guys are great, what other stuff can i add to description

one thing that will hold its value high is simply because its a non abused mint 1jz and r154, the potential is endless, its a bonestock engine, besides, new timing belt and waterpump, front mount intercooler and tuned apexis safc

its also one of teh cheapest cars ive owned to maintain, put in good gas, good synthetic oil, keep filters clean and shes good to go, i daily drive it, with my busy schedule, i would rather get money out of it than not being able to enjoy it, i dont drift nor do i race

a complete mod list.

Who did the wiring?
What mount kit?
What fuelpump?
what intercooler?
Exhaust?
what aftermarket gauges?

Is it a SE? or base model? Whats done to the suspension/rear end?

Yea but 9k for a stock motor and a car that's not one color.

Anyone willing to spend 9k would rather swap their own 240. Or buy a shell and have it done the way they want.

Curious what have your offers been?

dr tweak wiring
vlsd
hybrid motorsport mount kit
3.5 inch piping w downpipe to vibrant muffler(deep tone w zero drone)
tein coilovers, new tie rods

goal was to have a nice and clean reliable car to daily drove and not a trailer queen

no body want other peoples projects, and this i wouldnt classify as full blown project, it feel stock but with alot more pep and deeper tone, now with if you are really itching, id upgrade injectors, fuel pump, single, etc thats about $1500 to do it all and you have a 10 or so sec car

240 crowd is bunch of broke youngsters is what i have learned hahahha

i am a yota guy and never even liked 240s, but truth is, you cant beat physics, toyota inline on a light weight car like this is one cool thing, its right at about 300whp and it moves

thanks for input fellas, i just see 240's w sr20s asking nearly same price, what am i doing wrong, i have no clue, 1jz w r154 is one solid powerplant

Just in case you haven't experienced it first hand, those two numbers are absolutely meaningless. The amount of money you put into your car in no way correlates to the value of those parts when sold as a whole.

Cars and modifications aren't an investment.

All you can do it set your price and give it time. It'll sell eventually, you only need one sucker.

Let me know if you choose to part it I'll take the driveshaft, harness (if you have the four row ECU pinout not the two row) , radiator, fans, intercooler and piping. PM me if your interested.

there is a reason plenty of well built cars sell on here for over 9k...its because a lot of people don't care about doing it themselves and some also don't want to wait to even have it built. everyone is different but eventually one of those people will come along and snag this up. It's a good price for what it is.

pretty much this. people who spend 20-30k on new cars probably put down 5k cash and get the rest on loan.

people who have 10k are not really looking for this type of car and if they are there are not that many of them out there.

You gotta slam the shit out of it so all the bandwagon drifter kids can drool and daydream at your pics.

Price seems very fair.
