Wow so jearous of so many of u, apparently only place worse than here is Hawaii. It's like 470-480 for premium up here saw a place the other day at 490 up here in the forest but that's also because everything has to get trucked in on small trucks cus the hippies won't let em cut down a few trees to widen the 101. Thus making average everyday commodities more expensive.
Why is Florida so cheap? Is it like their way of bribing people to live there?

I love how everyone says oh well, we are catching up with the rest of the world.
The rest of the world has better cars with better fuel economy. Even their diesels get better ratings and power than us. Plus why would WE want to be like the rest of the world. If you know your history, we were founded on the principal of being different than the rest of the world.
oh gas here in colorado is anywhere from 3.45 to 4.05 It sucks because the week before the blizzard (probably 3 weeks ago now) gas was at 2.45 for mid-grade.

We have three of the biggest ports in the country though: long beach is like the fourth or fifth biggest in the country, then you have LA, and then you got the yay rrreah with all it's ports Oakland Richmond etc. Besides aren't most fuel refineries located in Texas? Wouldn't that make Texas the cheapest and not florida?
As for the bribing ppl to live there... I'm sorry man it's pretty and all, but fuck that humidity, I'd rather move back to so cal.

I moved from Miami, Fl to Rio Rancho, NM 4 months ago and won't look back. I seriously doubt Florida has cheaper gas then most of the other states. I pay now $3.90 for 91 octane. The Humidity in Florida sucks balls, here we have almost no Humidity. you don't have to worry about walking outside and start pouring in sweat haha. Last year I was paying $4.20 + for 93 in Miami.

Yeah it's 2x cheaper then 93 were i'm at so it's like $25-$30 full tank (E-85) then $50-$55 (93). I usually fill up mid week and the end of the week. Usually spending as much as i would with 93 just having to fill up twice a week instead of once a week.

As a matter of fact it is a stock KA. I wish I had ethanol free gas around here.
Have there been facts to support your claim? I saw something in the news about a week ago about bad gas damaging engines I forgot where. They said all the people that kept there receipt or could prove they used the gas were covered.

So its clear prices are high, no doubt about it.
Supply and demand right? Middle east has supply, we have demand.
Wait a minute, we have a supply too!
Wait another minute because we cant tap into our own supply!
Makes more sense to ship it halfway around the world right? Because if we open up our pipeline some might spill out.
Its ok for China or Brazil to drill off our coast, but we cant.
Its time to get this country back on track. We cant sit here any longer and let this president "change" america for the worse. There are so many reasons to vote "NObama"

Agreed! I actually worked for this president's campaign this year and last election...and let me tell you this was something I was constantly in disagreement with other "Liberals" about.
Look I want peace, love, etc as much as the next pot smoking car fanatic, but let's be reasonable...that can't be achieved if we can't drive to the peace accords because gas is 20 dollars a gallon.
Someone needs to fix this nonsense because we all enjoy driving too much for us to be stifled by the Prius generation.

I don't know, I'm assuming it's because old people drive very slowly..(kidding). It's cheap in certain areas, but honestly places like Gainesville (my town) are 3.88 for regular and 4-something for premium...it's because we have a lot of students here and it's a captive audience, they can get away with jacking up the prices on football game days because of the loads of moron tourists coming in..
They do the same thing around the track for Test & Tune nights, knowing we're all coming out there to do drag runs and drifts in the parking lot on the side.
