well my net was down and i noticed that for the month or so that i have been off the net there has been hella people  who have joined our wonderful family. Oh and is it me or are people flaming each other a little more?

I think its awesome that the community has grown so much. It brings so much more life, and a lot more technical know how with so many people together. Plus, now it doesn't sound so much like a chat room.

this forum gets along better than any other car or music forum/mailing list i've been to. and this has more people than most of them. we're a lot more mature when it comes to problems i guess.

I like it because when there is an immature post most people do NOT automatically flame that person, instead they set things straight with a more mature response that usually includes facts as to why.  We also make an effort to nip any squabbles in the bud too.  To much knowledge here to go talking shiet!!!  I love you guys!

Maybe cuz people are finally seeing the light and jumping over.  I've been into Honda/Acura's mostly for the past 7 years and decided its time for a change.  I've been a regular over at www.honda-tech.com for awhile, even when it was just www.-honda-acura.net
Things get old, even though I had a Type R, you realize FF just kinda sux, and that a 500HP FF won't hook up for shite on the streets.
I'm here cuz this seems like a good place to learn and hang out, plus I like these 240's so much now.  Yes there are others, but this one doesn't have a million pop-ups everytime you check it.

I'm a regular at 240sx.org.  I never new this forum existed.  Till a while ago.  I have to say Zilvia.net gets a lot more hits, and more replies.  Perhaps because this is more internationally known.   I'm here for the same reason most of us are here.  I own a 240sx.  And i love to disscuss about it.  Stuff like that..

This forum is awesome, people are so much nicer, the other day, I went to hondahookup.com, and saw a post that says "I need WRX pics quick" and the responses were "Search on the net, #######"  In here, if we think somebody is not doing something very intelligence, they just won't respond to it, or suggest them to do something else.  That's why I just love this place.

I agree with everyone else.  I'm a die hard nissan lover, but I gotta give it up  to the guys at honda.  They come up with some unreal hp figure with small displacement engines without the use of any forced induction.  The only hondas that I don't like are the ones driven by Idiots that think every sticker adds horsepower.  But I got love for the ones out there that can't  sleep at night thinking about cars and what their next upgrades going to be whether it be import or domestic.

Ah but grasshopper you miss something. Honda's get good horsepower but poor torque. Honda's are basically race engines massaged for the street. i.e. no power below 3000-4000 rpm. Great for the race track terrible for the street. Now Nissans on the other hand are well rounded engines designed very well .So well in fact several of Nissans engines are considered to be the Worlds best in their classes. which ones you ask.  VG30 and VQ30 are considered to be some of the best v6's in the world. RB26DET up there  among the top straight 6's . SR20DET and CA18DET considered to be some of the best 4 's in Japan and the world.
who has some of the broadest and flattest torque and horsepower bands for their engines in the world ?? Nissan. don't get me wrong Honda makes great F1 engines and Motorcycles engines both of which need less torque. Nissan makes CART engines . IMSA engines , Formula 3 engines . For all out usability Nissans win. Gas mileage Honda. revability Honda but no Torque which means the Nissan with more Torque will beat the Honda with equal Horsepower because it  has the Torque to get it going while the Honda is just spinning his pistons to get it up into his horsepower band .Hehehehehehehehe
