I am really anal about the perfect state of my car... a problem when you buy it used and put up with the last guys idiocy... anyways, to the point. I have a tear in the bottom or the vinyl in my door. It sucks, cause it is really obvious, and I don't want to replace it... (nissan will charge me 450 cdn) and I wanna know if there is a certain place, or a do it yourself method you could help me out with... also, My driver door does not close right, it needs to be lifted slightly to close perfectly, but I can't adjust it, I think it is the bushing, but whatever... any ideas or prices on hinges and bushings?

Ask the dealer for prcies on the hinges and bushings.
Also, go look for a good condition door panel at the wreak yards.

Thanks, but there is no such thing as a 97-98 240 here... there are less than 25 on the road in the whole city... so junkers? No. There are more 300tt' that there are my car... bummer.... the hinge there. I am just wondering if that would be everyones take on what the problem is... or if anyone has something similar... can you crush that bushing?

You do know you can get those same parts from a '95-'96 and they'll be the same, right? <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
