Doesn't sound like you know what your getting yourself into, before you mess up anything just let somebody who knows what their doing to take a look at it for you.

I'm not sure if all the sr's are the same, but in the s14/s15 sr the hydraulic chain tensioner is fastened on the right side of the block by 2 nuts, if you remove the tensioner it will let off the tension on the chain, there is a small lock on the tensioner the keep it compressed for reinstallation later (simply compress it and lock in place). make sure to mark the chain links and cam sprockets and keep some tension on the chain so it doesn't skip on the crank sprocket (pretty sure there's something on the crank sprocket to keep it in place, but doesn't hurt to make sure) make sure to not rotate the engine, and put chain back in same place after. once you have the tesion off, you should be able to loosen off all the cam bolts a little at a time in reverse order of the tightening sequence (make sure not to do too much at a time or you may break the cam). That should get you access to the rockers. replace them and put it back together. hope this helps.
