I went to charge my a/c today and the low-pressure Line going from the
Compressor to the Condenser's port is smaller than the hole on the condenser so it doesn't seal tight there with the o-ring on it.
everything else bolted up & Works but won't hold pressure due to it leaking out heavily there.
car is a 95 SE and I'm wondering/trying to figure out if I have the wrong Low pressure line or the wrong condenser.
I bought the condenser Used and unsure of the year it came off of.
the line bolted up the the top of the compressor Tight and perfect.
any ideas if it changed from 97+??

I went through simular issues with the S13. (Thread here) (http://zilvia.net/f/s-chassis/440916-s13-sr20-swap-ac-questions-comments.html)
It took me an hour to find the correct O-ring (I had a large kit) that would seal when using SOHC line on DOHC compressor. That was with the compressor and line sitting on my bench, and me blowing through the line checking for leaks.
I found very little difference in condensor's over the years, and low side lines stayed the same diameter at the condensor fitting. (EZ to strip that one) I did find that there was a huge difference in compressor fitting sizes over the years, even with the same model of car. As long as you can get the fitting into the compressor, you can eventually get it to seal if you have enough o rings (and patience).
Sorry I can't be any more help, but I know what you're up against.

What kit are you trying to use? Most kits are R134 kits and S14s should have the R134 fitting on it so it should just plug into the low side.

I have the 95 S14 compressor (codyace bracket). I pieced together the rest of the a/c system from Others and Bought what i just found out a few min's ago to be a 97 Condenser from "Florentine Rae" .
I have a feeling that may be the Issue.
The Lines Bolt up to the compressor Perfectly and I even bought ALL new O-rings from Nissan for the 95 240sx when I put it all together.
Its Up near the intake where the prob lies that I'm trying to figure out.
The Dowel that the oring goes around doesn't Plug in tight enough to hold pressure and all the Dye and freon pukes out there.
So I have to see if the 97 condenser is the issue or maybe that 1 low pressure line could be the prob.

would a 97 low pressure line Plug into a 95 Compressor??
That way i could Just replace that and be Done with it.

i'm having the same problem.I have both sets of lines from a 95 and 97, 98 . The lines are different at the ends where they connect to the compressor or condenser. The 95 lines are tapered like in your pic and the other lines are not tapered just round. I have a 95 s14 with a S13 blacktop in it and just bought an a/c setup I'm guessing from a 97 or 98 because the lines are different from what i have in the car. You can check courtesynissanparts.com and see the different ka a/c line part numbers. hope this helps.

Turns out I have a 97 condenser and My 95 Just Arrived. The port on the Driverside is def smaller and Now I get to remove it all again.
Should get it rolling soon.

This thread turned out to be pretty helpful. Although Im still having major issues figuring out why my ac line wont connect. I obviously have the wrong size but i cant find a difference in part #'s between different year models. When i got my S14 the only thing it was missing is the high and low pressure line with the charge ports (two that come off the compressor). I found someone local and traded. He has a 95se i have a 96se.. dont get what the difference is. I know my motor is not original though but it is a s14 ka

When i finally got my a/c working, i had to swap the ends of the lines. I cut and welded the ends. My car was a 95se and it had all the lines in it still and my a/c system i bought was used from a 97se (compressor and lines).
