S13 Black top Cams VS S13 red top cams

redtop and blacktop cams should be the same. the s14 and s15 notchtop cams are different as the intake side uses VVT.

same here someone was wanting to buy them but was unsure and i couldnt really find any info on that. I am also now wondering since he said that it uses VVt if that the vvt on the FR is more powerful than the NeoVVl motors on the FF

Ofcourse the FR VVT makes more power...it got a turbo on it. Most Neo SRs are NA but the head is pretty much bullet proof compared to regular SR heads (both NA and Turbo). You can use the S13 cams on S14s if you use the S13 cam gears too but you'll lose the VVL.

can you install a neo head on a basic sr... though i know the odds of me doing it is slim since im not going to buy a neo vvl motor for just the head

its A LOT of work, totally not worth it...just get a bigger turbo + better cams

I figured as much... thats what im atually shooting for, new motor is in and runs like a champ so my first set of plans was to sell the megan elbow and down pipe and get a cobra and manifold and then cams and finish with a new turbo
