ok i just verified that i have the correct timing to the best of my abilities. dis-connected the tps and timing shows on the forth hash mark from the left to me means that its 15 degrees BTD which is stock timing. engine has 275k on the clock. question is i still get knocking around 2k-3krpm in 2nd and 3rd gears, new plugs, z32 fuel pump, ran fuel injector cleaner, drop in k&n filter, headers, muffler shop exhaust. why am i still knocking?

Did you do a compression check?

i have not, i just set the timing retard a bit for next 2 weeks until i get a compression kit.
