The car is in great shape overall. Clean title, no accidents. Extremely reliable. Absolutely great on gas and has never once given us any issues. No CEL and passes smog with ease. Registration is up to date.
Interior is super clean. No cracks on the dash. All electronics work just fine. Aftermarket alarm is installed and works great.
Bought this for my brother when it had just a little over 100k a few years ago. He changed up his career path and needed a 4-door for work. No use having the S14 sit around. I had planned on keeping the car and building it up along with my S13, but I have other/more important priorities to take care of. Cars are just being put on hold for the moment.
Cons: Transmission is a little notchy. The car still runs and drives just fine, shifting just isn't butter smooth. Doesn't actually grind. Easy fix though. Rebuild the transmission yourself (what I had planned on doing) or pick up another S14 transmission and throw it in.
Front bumper has a small scuff and driver's side door has a fairly minor dent toward the bottom from one of our neighbors backing into it. Neither being really noticeable. I was going to replace all of the aero with JDM Kouki S14 aero and have the entire thing repainted anyway. So, neither of them were ever really issues to begin with.
Price - $7500. Not negotiable.
Considering how few clean, relatively unmolested Kouki's are left out there, the price is more than fair. Whether you want to do a full on restoration or build this thing from the ground up, it's an absolutely perfect platform. If I had a few of my priorities out of the way, I definitely wouldn't be selling this, but given the circumstances it's a much better financial move. Just want this car to go to someone who will enjoy it as much as we did.
Pictures are a little old, but this is the condition the car will be coming in.
