I have a house in arizona aswell so I choose to register here that way I don't have to deal with smog saves me a $200 bootleg smog and also ca police can't pop my hood or give me a fix it ticket.

Same reason I drove forever with my SC plates after moving out of the state. SC requires no form of inpsection, period.
