z32maf-what am i doing wrong???

trying to wire up the z32maf and something is not right here.....i connected the z32 red wire + to the black with stripe that runs outside the grey sheilded cover and runs by itself ...next i connected the two - center black wires on z32 maf together and connected tham to green wire on oem harnes and now if i connect the signal white wire from maf maf to signal red wire on harnes car runs like crap what did i do wrong here are some pictures

is the white wire a signal wire of the maf and does it connect to the red wire

edit: You connect the black wires together and then connect that to a ground source. Not sure what your "green wire" is for. But the two black wires need ground signal.
