NY State Inspection - Long Island

I recently changed my registration over to NY State. My 240 has been sitting in my driveway because I don't have a shop that I "know" I wont have problems passing an emissions inspection.

I have a SR20 with minimal mods: intake exhaust, and test pipe. I figure the test pipe is whats going to cause me trouble.

Anyone know of a shop in LI where I can pass along a $100-$200 etc to not have to worry?

if its an obd1 car you dont need to pay anyone as ny is only safety inspection with no emissions testing anymore since beginning of 2011
if your car is obd2
ur screwed
oh and dont make topics about illegally passing inspections as it seems to be unfriendly and not a good subject here

Any vehicle from 95 and under is just a visual inspection

yep, Visual safety inspection for all cars 1995 and older.
