sunroof problems

Not sure this is the right place but my sunroof opens fine. When i go to close it the right side closes but the left side seems to get jammed up. Not sure how they work but could a track be bad or....? Any ideas are greatly appreciated...oh and its a 96 se

I've had this problem. I'll edit this post in a bit.

EDIT: Okay my problem in my S13 coupe was this.
The tracks themselves were okay, but the part that's guided along the track on one side was broken. There's two points where the plate that attaches to the sunroof glass attaches to the track. One of those points was broken, causing binding. At first I could open the sunroof, but it'd have trouble closing. Eventually it got stuck open, and I had to drop the headliner + sunroof stuff to get the glass out.

I'm not sure how the sunroof is arranged for the S14. If you can, close the sunroof all the way, detach the glass from the inside, and then check the track. Use the button to open / close the sunroof to see what's going on.
