Hello everyone, So here's the story, I have a question regarding my headlights. For a while I thought the car was simply outfitted with a hid kit however recently, I noticed the smell of smoke coming from my car when I was leaving work about a week ago. So I pulled over and popped the hood and I saw smoke coming out of my driver side light. That's when i noticed the plug wasn't seated correctly so I tried to re-seat it and and I ended up breaking the bulb. -___- So I ended up having to drive home with my high beams on. When I got home I pulled the headlight and I saw the mess all the heat did to the plug and the capsule(D2S bulb)!

So I removed the bulb and I noticed their was some kind of metal shield in the back. At the time I had no idea the car came with D2S bulbs or what HiD projectors were and thought they were H1's or d2r's or whatever so I went to my local Autozone store for help and guidance. As it turns out the person who ended up helping me drives an s13 silvia front end conversion coupe! So after everything that he explained to me, he said that I possibly might have bi-xenon HID retrofitted headlights because of the solenoid that it has and that the ballast could be defective because it started smoking as well when I plugged in the good bulb from the other(passenger side) headlight. So he suggested to check out D2S: Morimoto Elite HID System - HID Component Kits from The Retrofit Source Inc (http://www.theretrofitsource.com/product_info.php?products_id=242)

I am planning with going with the 50w Morimoto 5five ballasts, 50w morimoto d2s 5000k, and as for the wire harness I'm still not sure which one to pick? Can I still use the existing harness on my car? from what I was able to eye ball it has 15amp fuses on the positive leads for the ballast plugs one 30amp fuse for the positive lead which is connected straight the the positive terminal of the battery!(sketchy!) the negative wires all seem grounded to the chassis and the relay says 50a but that's the most i could make out of it. also I need help identifying one of the solonoid plugs as one of them broke off, I will include pictures of the plug as well. Now for my main question. What kind of projectors do I have?

Here the pics!!!!!
