Correct me if I'm wrong about sideshows... ppl in like oakland and south bay areas when they'd have like big meets and such not really racing oriented and then ppl would do burnouts and such to show how baller they are, and from what I gather these meets are like more gang related than for street racing. There was a documentary on this phenomena where like ppl from different sets would go to these sideshows and meets and strut their stuff in front of rival sets and there's a lot of violence as a result...

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, I just saw a documentary about them so I'm kinda an expert on em lol

My neighbors have a crew of fox body mustangs; nothing but sideshows almost every night.
