It's just an old 4 door car, probably cost more to fix whatever is wrong with it then it's worth.

It's just an old 4 door car,.
from the comments its also automatic and non turbo, its not even worth much at all in the first place. i cant believe people go crazy over this kind of stuff, i wouldnt even want it if it was free.

lol i kind of think its funny that japan basically scraps these cars cut them in half and ships them to US since we buy their trash at top dollar
dont get me wrong i would take a skyline even if its a 4 door automatic non turbo (; but im sure that pos would go for at least $10k all day here in the US

Correct me if I am wrong please:
-If I remember reading right, in Japan culture people dont like to hang onto older cars.
-isnt there some sort of tax on keeping older cars on the road?
@zenkikid, im pretty sure yeah
also, the car mightve been stolen

That's the equivalent of the 1970s 4 door land yacht on the back of farmer bills property since 1985. Nothing special, but I would still like to have it.
And yes over a certain amount of miles it costs more to register the car. Its more to do with the engine then the chassis itself, that's why you see all these claims of 55k miles on this RB25 for $1500, I say wheres your proof?

See all sorts of this shit all the time. 9/10 the paperwork went missing and they cant be bothered to pay to recycle it so its left to rot. No law against that...not yet atleast.
A friend has a low mileage S12 Silvia, again sitting outside, pillars rotting right off it.

Yep^ This really isn't anything worth crying about, they're very common cars, here, and way more in Japan. Really isn't a big loss worth a thread, could fix.
Here's an R34 that should probably be saved:
