View Full Version : Replacing Positive Battery Terminal cable?

So theres this car, and like it has no fucking positive battery terminal wire for whatever fucking reason. I didn't really take a good look at it so I dont know what the deal is (it probably got ripped out by mistake when the motor was removed)

Am I correct in assuming its a simple matter of getting 4 gauge power wire and splice/solder? or is there some kind of "SPL" technique required? What happens if I can't find what's left of the wire? Where would I tap the source from? etc etc etc

Gives me an excuse to use one of those fancy shmancy non corrosive MONSTER CABLE SPL terminals. :)

U COULD do that but you could just as easily go to autozone and pick up a battery teminal wire replacement kit for like $4 or so just a thought peace
