Euro Spec Headlights!

Chris Stout just got word on the E-Spec headlights for the s14. They are gonna cost a pretty penny but please read the following if interested.

Here's the latest word everyone!

I have the pricing for the '95-'96 Euro spec headlights for the group. They're going to be right around 600 for the pair which includes shipping and customs charges. This is a helluva deal, onsidering I've seen S14 JDM lights go for around 700 bucks for the pair WITHOUT shipping, and they're not even for a LHD car! These lights will be from Germany, so they're designed for LHD. Also consider your local Nissan dealer wants nearly 240 bucks a piece for the US Spec headlights which are plastic! These Euro spec lights are glass housings.

As for the '97-'98 Euro spec headlights, I have
yet to get the price, but they will be available. For those of you with 97-'98 240s that don't know the difference between your USDM lights and
Euro spec lights, email me off list and I will send you pictures showing the difference. For those of you who are interested, please contact me off list so I can begin to compile a list of potential buyers and get a rough idea of how many people we have. If we get enough, we may even get a bit of a discount! If you have any other questions, feel free to email.

It will *fit* but it will have a gap in them. Hmmm, I forgot about this so I will try to find some pics of someone with 97-98 headlights on a 95-96 without body mods.

The are not 1 peice. But they are made of glass and light the road better and just look alot better than the crappy plastic headlights.

The projector is more to the outside of the car and they are made of glass, not plastic. It isnt as much of a deal for the 97-98 style but chris can still get them.

Hello Everyone...

After all this time, I am finally on Zilvia.net to partake in this thread that I've heard so much about. <img src="#/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> The latest info is nothing new. Still going to be waiting until around the end of this year, to the beginning of next year to place the order. As for the '97-'98 Especs, I'm not sure what the situation is with those. When I last talked to them about the two different headlights, I was told that there was only one headlight available in Germany from '95-'98 for their 200SX's. I'm going to be calling them tomorrow to chit chat about this again. I do want to make sure we are getting exactly what we need. That would really suck if we ended up with a whole bunch of '97-'98 lights when we wanted '95-'96's, or vice versa! Well, I'll keep the forum posted as well as those of you who are also members of the 240sx.org mailing list. Also, those who have emailed me privately and have said they were seriously interested in a pair, I have you all on a separate mailing list. ARGH...well...latest on this topic is that my supplier is supposed to have the #### lights ANYTIME now...They are getting quite pissed, because the contact in Germany already has charged them, but both are reputable sources, so it's most likely just a setback in the mailing system or some crap. &nbsp;I'm going to call them again tomorrow and find out the situation. &nbsp;I'll post back after I call...

Yes...the USDM '97-'98 headlights ARE glass. &nbsp;It's the '95-'96 ones we are working on getting...But, the '97-'98 Euros are a BIT different. &nbsp;Projector is spaced farther out on the light, and the projector is also bigger. &nbsp;I would assume this means a different beam pattern as well.

I'll check into the '97-'98 Euros...You also might wanna try asking one of the UK guys on Zilvia. As of right now, the lights should be on there way to my supplier, but I'm calling to harass them some more tomorrow. Also, I know for a fact the '95-'96 Euros use an H4 low and H3 high. A little custom wiring involved, but nothing difficult from what I understand. I'll know more once I get the g'#### test pair! :o

Sorry coastek, but this group deal is for S14 Euro spec lights...if you're wanting to stick with flip up headlights, you can pick up Hella sealed beam conversions which allow you to use H4 bulbs. &nbsp;I think Don Nimi sells them at www.pdm-racing.com &nbsp;There are a bunch of different options when it comes to sealed beam conversion lights. &nbsp;As for a JDM S13 Silvia light, you would need to get the whole front end conversion. &nbsp;Check out www.boostdynamics.com and drop them an email for info on that.

Hey everyone!

Here's the latest...I just spoke with my supplier and they said that the test pair SHOULD be there by the end of the week...I know, I know...that's what they said last week too, but there's not much we can do, but wait. &nbsp;Good news is, according to my supplier, they said that the shipment contains 5 sets of '95-'96 lights (one of which is the test pair), and 3 sets of '97-'98 lights(one of which is a test pair). &nbsp;So right after I receive the two test pairs, I'll be able to start taking orders. &nbsp;Two of the '95-'96 lights have been accounted for already, as these two have already sent payment, and have been anxiously waiting. &nbsp;As for the 2 sets of '97-'98 lights, no one has claimed them yet. &nbsp;The other 2 sets of '95-'96 lights will be up for sale as well...Please don't start emailing me now if you want a set of the lights that I will have left over, because I don't want to take anyone's money for those until my supplier has them. &nbsp;I will make another post when they become available...

Just fyi the 97-98 us headlights are glass already, so the only diff is the spacing, its also the same for jdm, also its been said that the beams are naturally aimed to the right instead of the left(but i cant verify this)

Here's the latest on the eurospecs...

The original distributor that we were going through is now trying to charge an arm and a leg for the lights. &nbsp;Basically...they're trying to charge my supplier almost 800 per pair...No way am I gonna try and sell them for 200 bucks more than what everyone was expecting. &nbsp;And I know they don't cost that g'damn much from a dealer in Germany. &nbsp;We're talking with another company in England that said they'll try and help us out with the situation. &nbsp;Needless to say, I'm pissed...my supplier is pissed, because I'm pissed...and I'm sure all you people waiting are getting rather impatient. &nbsp;I know I sure as hell am...I've been trying to set this deal up for a REALLY long time, and I hate having to tell everyone who keeps asking about the lights that there's no good news yet. &nbsp;Well...once again...sorry to say it, but all we can do is wait. &nbsp;And there's nothing I hate more than waiting on car parts... <img src="#/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sneaky.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':pissed:'>

I can see that this group buy has fallen through for the moment. &nbsp;I thought I might jump in and help some of you out.
I live in Auckland, New Zealand and have easy access to silvia parts due to the large amount of japanese imports here.
I have found some 1995-96 S14 lights for a member here. &nbsp;He is getting the funds together but might not be able to get the money for a month or so.
They will be $600US including shipping to your door insured from UPS.
I can hunt around for more if there is enough interest.
These are second hand of course but will be thoroughly checked and you will have pics emailed to you before you buy.
