my reverse lights stay on in tell i put the car in reverse!?!?! i dont understand it. 1-5 the stay on, the second i put it in reverse they shut off. Somone please help me

check the wiring on the reverse sensor, probably have a short circuit or something.

Wires are touching each other or a ground somewhere. Jack the car up get under there locate the reverse sensor and check the wiring.

You just do a manual conversion or something? How/when did the problem started is important for us to know to give you a good idea on where to look.

sounds to me like you have the wrong sensor in place of your reverse sensor on the transmission. Some sensors close the circuit once you press the little nipple, and some sensors open the circuit once you press the nipple. Check the reverse sensor.

However thinking now, I think you have the wrong sensor hooked up to your reverse lights(Either Top Position Switch or OD switch) , so Double check if your reverse lights are hooked up to the first sensor on the bell housing
