Heya. I got a question about my Fidanza flywheel, I was torquing four bolts in different places but they got stripped, so I tried re-tapping them with the same thread size/pitch but it just stripped again cause of the material being aluminum.

I re-tapped four of the holes with a bigger tap, and bolts and I just honed the clutch holes to work with the bigger bolts that I'm using. I also used blue thread locker on the bolts.
The weight of the bigger bolts are about half as heavy as the old ones.

Onto my question, I was wondering if this would affect the clutch/flywheels' balance and if it would affect it in such a way that will lead to failure?

Open to inputs/suggestions. Thanks!

& Here's what I'm talking about:

yes it will. you should drill out the rest of them so that it will be balanced.

I second that, you want everything as balanced as possible.

you could of helicoiled them so that you could use the original bolts, just for future reference :)
