JDM BABY!! haha, it's some unknown brand, but they're made in Japan, i got them last week at Alta in Rosemead, CA. i paid $280 for all 4 with tires. 14x7 i think... i dont know the offset

13's most likely wont clear the brakes. I'll ask some hachiroku friends of mine, they should have some 13's I can borrow to testfit.

haha..nice!...i was rockin 14x6.5 with 195/65/14 for awhile..pretty big sidewall as well but not quite the size of yours...if i was you i would try to get as low a profile on as wide a wheel as possible...maye 205/60/14 if the 205 will fit...just to minimize what will def be some nice sidewall flex and roll...

the place where i got these is called So Cal Alteration in Rosemead, California. They sell JDM rims from 12"-19" and more! You'll find SSR, Work, Volks, Advans, Mugen, Watanabe's, Panasports...etc..and most of them come with tires already, if not, they'll put some on for you, sorry if this sounds like a commercial post, but the guys over there were really helpful and I thought of putting in a good word for them. :bigok:

14s are too small for S13. WAY too much sidewall. However the price is great!

What you will run into will be the brake dust that has burned onto the clearcoat after you take the car to the track or spirited backroad driving. It is a PITA to get off and some will not come off unless the wheel is taken apart and professionally cleaned.

My wheels from a distance look super clean but when you get up close you can see where I can't get the brake dust off. It takes me roughly 1.5hrs to really clean my wheels. Most of the time I will just spray them down with 409 and let them sit, wipe them down and get in between each spoke with a sponge and soapy water to get the remaining dirt out.

I still have not found a wheel cleaner that you can just spray on and spray off and have a beautifully clean wheel and I have tried a lot of them.

you know i always thought it was cool to have a S13 because it look awsome with mesh wheels, and they're not exspensive. if you want an s14 to have nice rims you gotta pay $$$. looks good though!!

the reason why your sidewall is so high is to keep the ratio... if you go smaller your speedo will have a greater % error. if that doesn't matter to you, then get 55-60 or something.

well, the place i bought it from told me they came off a 280zx, so i guess you can say that's vintage :hsdance:

i'm sure they arent SSR, but on the back of the wheel, theres some brand stamp, but i forgot what it is, no big name brand though, it also says "made in japan" :bigok:

i'll post the brand once i take off the rims today

don't bother getting different tires for those rims. If you want less sidewall
then get bigger rims as well. Otherwise just sport the tire you have now....
