Howdy.
I'm trying to sell my old pickup to pay for all of the bits I've bought for my S13, and maybe scrape enough together for an engine. SO!
I've got a 1995 S-10 standard cab, short bed, 2 wheel drive, 2.2 Litre I-4, automatic transmission. It's silver, with a leBra tonneau cover, bedliner, altezza rears (I got the stockers in a box, too) and "M3" mirrors, with LED signal lights. (the POS fold-aways fell off going down the highway. :-p) I've got 3 extra tires. AC Blows cold.
It's been well taken care of, and it's got a Blaupunkt Miami head unit. So even if you hate Blaupunkt, it's ready for something else.
So here's the bad news. It's got 160,000 almost completely highway miles. When my brother owned it, he drove it between Charleston, S.C. to Ft. Belvoir damn near every weekend, and racked up alot of miles on it. However, he had all the regular maintenance done, and the engine is flawless, even after 160k on the clock.
The automatic transmission shifts good....as long as you keep fluid in it. Therein lies the problem. I believe the rear main seal has got a leak. I haven't the time or the motivation to fix the seal, as I'm concentrating on my 240SX. It's got about a 12" scratch on the wheel well where my brother miscalculated his garage, but you can barely see it.
Anyway, this would make an awesome project truck, whether you wanted to show it, or drop some cubes under the hood and race it. Or, if you just want a stuff-hauler, this would be a good truck too, once you pop a new seal in.
Anyway, KBB says the dealer retail is $4,950. Now I realize I'm not a dealer. So, let's take $500 off for the seals, and another thousand because I'm not a car dealer.
That leaves us with $3,450, or best offer.
I'm serious about that best offer stuff. Throw me some numbers and we'll see work something out. This is really a very well taken care of pickup, and I even have the window sticker from when my brother bought it. I'm also open to trades of cash + S13 240SX parts, particularly suspension and / or SR20DET stuff.
