its a 91 240sx
99 camaro SS 5.7L v8
t56 6 speed
koyo aluminum radiator
light cam
headwork
j30 VLSD
work equips + nitto 555's on a pair of FN0r1c's

slammed

i moved to long beach and dont want to bust open another GTO oil pan..

white hatch, traded my evo for it..

the day after i got the car the wiring created a short, and was blowing the ign. fuse.. had jeff over at jordan inovations fix that problem

shortly fallowed was the clutch slippage, ended up being the front main on the t56 spitting ATF on the clutch disk. replaced..
1.clutch disc
2.pressure plate
3.GTO oilpan brand new (previous owner failed to mention is was jb welded)
4.hydrolic slave cylinder
5.48' steel braded line SW90* an4 lines
6.rear main seal
6.front main t56 seal.

im sure theres more.. pictures will be up today

last time i read it said light cam? and what im telling you is correct. if you are going with a big enough cam to hit 400, you HAVE to do headwork and tuning. with no tuning its a small enough cam to run without one.
you are more likely around 320-330 at the crank. unless you are running a full exhaust, and a better flowing/larger intake manifold. then ill be more generous to say 350-360 to the crank

you just arent anywhere near 409 wheel hp. :facepalm:

listen, hitting 400 WHEEL hp is doing FULL bolt ons with tune. and im talking cam, heads, intake, tune, exhaust. and i can see you easily hitting 400. but i just dont see the gains with what he has posted. but hey, he said he has a dyno. all he needs to do is post it up and ill shut the fuck up. or at least post what cam, heads, and tune he is running. so it can be more of a clear picture than light cam, and headwork???

lol my old ls1 with TSP torquer V2 232/234 cam, supporting cam mods, 3.5 inch K&N intake, ls6 intake, ported throttle body, 1 3/4 headers, and 2.5 inch exhaust to flowmaster single chambers made 383whp on a MUSTANG dyno, that would EASILY be 400whp on a dyno jet. if i had ported and polished heads it would have been 400whp on a mustang and 420 ish on a dyno jet. and it was tuned with HPtuners...

shortly fallowed was the clutch slippage, ended up being the front main on the t56 spitting ATF on the clutch disk. replaced..
1.clutch disc
2.pressure plate
3.GTO oilpan brand new (previous owner failed to mention is was jb welded)
4.hydrolic slave cylinder
5.48' steel braded line SW90* an4 lines
6.rear main seal
6.front main t56 seal.

Damn, that sucks! I didnt know he had cut corners with that build. This was my friend Junior's car. I never actually rode in the car or checked it out up close, it looked clean though. GLWS bro.

it was all him.. he didnt tell me the rear main was leaking, oil pan was jb welded, the front main on the t56 split and toasted the clutch the 2nd day of me owning it..

ive driven the car 2 days since ive owned it.. got home okay..

I'm sorry, but what? I live all the way in GA and that motor was in my rx7. I never had a camaro.
