need small help

I just got my car out the shop about a week ago and I had a sr20det put in. My car does not want to start now. This is a really noob question but I just need someone to help me out and post a good picture of where the starter is. It has to be a starter problem because I turn the key and all the lights come on and I have a brand new battery in it. it just doesn't even make a noise when I turn the key all the way. But yeah, I tried serching for pics of starter but they all are pics of starters not acutally on the engine. Help!

i dont have a picture but the starter is the big motor that is under the intake manifold. it will be by the firewall on the passenger side of the engine. check the small wire that goes to the solenoid(the small looking motor that sits on top of the big motor). the small wire is the starter wire that makes the starter spin when you switch the ignition switch to start. also check the big battery wire and make sure its tight. make sure to disconnect the negative battery cable before you stick your 12mm wrench on there so you wont create a short.

I read you have to jack the car up to get to it. Is it that far under?? I feel like a retard I can't find it. Ugh.

black wire w/ yellow stripe that goes to the starter, always seems to come loose. Check the starter.

Ooh ok. I'm hoping it is something easy because I've only driven the car like 3 times. But a picture would be EXTREMEMLY helpful because I'm legit clueless where it is

Oh trust me, I know what a starter looks like, but I can't find that piece on my sr at all. I think I have a camo or invisable starter.

I jacked my car up twice and I can't find that stupid thing. Its dark now so I gotta try to find it tomo. But isn't the intake mani and the alternator on oppisites side?? Sorry I'm coming off as such a noob but gotta start somewhere.

maybe it fell off, but if you cant find it or at least where it mounts up, download the the fsm and read.

if you lay under the car head maybe a couple inches to towards the back of the car and look at your tranny where it meets the block, on the bottom right hand side will be the starter.
