I thought I read somewhere people buy s2000 battery's for their cars because they are smaller and save some weight in the nose of the car. Maybe it wasn't s2000s, but some stock car battery was about half the size of a regular battery. Anyone ever done this? I know there are racing battery's that are smaller, but I thought they couldn't support normal electrical loads of a daily driver car.

when i first got my car i had a shrunken battery and everyone i showed my car to laughed at my battery and made fun of it, but apparently little four cylinders don't need much cranking amps to start up a car. my battery has been out of my car for 3 months now just sitting so i think its junk now, i need to figure out what battery to go with when i get a new one next month.., anyway heres mine.http://i1104.photobucket.com/albums/h321/RPS13-NY/d0910772.jpg

My buddy runs a Honda Optima yellow top in his and has no issues. The factory CCA rating for a 240 is 450, which is cake.

Anyways, take your time research. There a lot of different batteries out there. I've used many different batteries.
Optima Yellow and Red top (red top is not a deep cycle battery)
Odyssey PC925 battery
Kinetic/Shuriken

Now I'm on Stingers battery. This one is pretty bad ass battery.

xs power has some of the best ones.
